Robert4You

Library

Books that keep the room open.

A curated intellectual and spiritual library of traditions, authors, primary sources, and works that continue to shape Robert Wallace’s inquiry.

A library is not a list of endorsements.

Books can be companions, provocations, historical evidence, spiritual testimony, or arguments worth resisting. Their presence here indicates relevance to an inquiry, not blanket agreement.

Individual entries will be added when there is enough context to explain why a work matters, what tradition or question it belongs to, and where Robert’s reading agrees, differs, or remains unresolved.

Inside this room

A clear frame for the work

Traditions

Christianity, mystical Christianity, Anthroposophy, Swedenborg, metaphysics, and comparative religion in conversation.

Primary sources

Original texts and documentary materials that allow claims to be examined rather than merely repeated.

Working shelf

Books connected to active counseling themes, research questions, talks, and personal study.

Reading across traditionsComparison is most useful when difference is preserved.

Two authors may use similar language while meaning very different things. A mystical Christian, an Anthroposophist, a New Thought writer, and a modern consciousness researcher can all speak about transformation without sharing the same theology, method, or standard of evidence.

The library is intended to keep those differences visible. Comparison should clarify a tradition before it blends traditions together, and primary sources should remain available whenever later summaries risk becoming more familiar than the original work.
